Protocontrol offers Intrinsically Safe Proximity Switches for use in Hazardous area. These switches are certified by competent authority for use in flammable area group classification I, IIA, IIB, IIC. Suitable intrinsically safe Isolating Amplifier is also offered which receives signal from these switches and drives a relay or produce solid state O/P.

These switches are used for position, speed, and direction & level sensing. Proximity switches can replace limit switches with many advantages.
