Inductive Proximity Switch is used for position sensing of metallic objects. Suitable for part sensing, job counting, position sensing, valve position sensing, drill break detection. They are also used for speed sensing, direction and rotation sensing of any moving or oscillating machines. These switches are totally enclosed with protection grade of IP 67 and designed with circuit which withstand harsh * effect of dust, dirt or water on the performance of the switch and can even be used * switches are designed for 5-40 V DC, They are protected against short, circuit over and reverse polarity connection. Switches can directly be connected to load like PLC.
AC switches are available for supply voltage of 90-230 V AC. AC-DC universal switches are suitable for AC as well as DC supply.
Models with quick disconnect plug are offered for ease of wiring. The DIN standard male connector is suitable for any international DIN female connector.
Protocontrol switches series IPS D2 NC are having certified intrinsically safe circuit for use in hazardous area Group Classification I, IIA,IIB and IIC. These switches are compatible with either Protocontrol make or any other make certified barrier.
